This great gathering is a one-day, outdoor, donation-based community yoga festival featuring some of the amazing yoga teachers of the Sea to Sky corridor. The West Coast Yoga Festival is a zero-waste initiative and will include music, food and vendors. The event itself is hosted by the West Coast Yoga Foundation (WCYF). This newly founded non-profit organization was created with the vision of providing universal access to yoga. The WCYF endeavours to offer an annual yoga festival, two yearly yoga retreats and weekly yoga classes, all by donation. Furthermore, they also aim to invest in the community by offering yoga scholarships and providing support to like-minded organizations who are also offering events aimed at uniting communities, preserving and restoring nature, and spreading the teachings of yoga. 300 Hour Teacher Training

The yogic approach of Body, Mind, and Spirit is absolutely parallel with the Inkan trilogy of Serpent, Jaguar, and Condor. The Serpent teaches us how to shed our skin and let go of the past; exactly what we do on our yoga mats, as through asana we let go of old imprints (samskaras) The jaguar teaches us to have no fear in this world or the next, thus training us to have a steady mind. The condor flies wing to wing with the great spirit thus offering us the gift of recognizing our soul is always connected with God. Introducing Shamanic techniques to your yoga practice accelerates your healing process, evolution, and understanding of the self and the cosmos

What is it like to live and be in Squamish

Experience why we come to this beautiful place we call home. We call on to the mountains, to awaken. To hold us in all its awe and beauty.
If you listen gently, you will hear her sweet song in the harmony of the winds.
Honour her by keeping her alive and well so that we can walk ever so gently on her belly. May we keep her blood clean and free through ceremony.
Walk with us.
Many are called, Few are chosen!
