Shakti Nidra Training
50-Hour Virtual Certification
A live virtual training in conscious rest,
journeywork, and embodied facilitation
Tuesdays, 4:00–6:30 PM PST
October 20, 2026 – January 12, 2027
Tuition: $888
Shakti Nidra is not taught here as relaxation alone. It is a disciplined practice of conscious rest, invocation, and guided healing that prepares the practitioner for journeywork and creates new pathways for higher levels of consciousness.
Designed for practitioners, teachers, and healing professionals, this training offers a clear path into the method, philosophy, and facilitation of Shakti Nidra. Participants develop both a personal relationship to the practice and the skill to guide others with steadiness, discernment, and care.
What Makes This Training Distinct
Shakti Nidra is a post-lineage healing practice rooted in the map of the koshas and shaped by a commitment to embodied liberation, social awareness, and lived transformation.
This training understands Nidra as a technology of coherence. Through invocation, sankalpa, breath, rotation of consciousness, nyasa, sound, the drum, and guided descent, participants learn to work with a precise map of consciousness and a clear set of coordinates for practice.
The preparations in this work are what make the journey possible. Each element is designed to support the practitioner’s capacity to become available for journeying — to settle the system, refine perception, and establish the conditions in which Shakti can come in and do her work.

What does Shakti want to bring through?
This training helps participants create the container in which that question can be met with humility, steadiness, and skill.
Why This Work, Why Now
We are living in a time when many people are overextended, spiritually undernourished, and disconnected from their own inner authority.
Shakti Nidra offers another way.
It is a practice that restores coherence across the layers of the being and helps practitioners become more available to healing, insight, and reorganization. It invites a shift away from force, performance, and fragmentation, and toward listening, receptivity, and a more trustworthy relationship with the Self.
It is both intimate and political: a practice that supports healing while also participating in a broader movement toward decolonization, feminine spiritual reclamation, anti-oppressive awareness, and the creation of safer, more ethical containers for transformation.
Who This Training Is For
This training is especially suited to:
- yoga teachers seeking a more nuanced and ethically grounded approach to Nidra
- healing professionals wanting to integrate rest, journeywork, and subtle body awareness into their work
- facilitators strengthening their pacing, voice, presence, and energetic stewardship
- committed practitioners seeking a serious framework for personal practice and spiritual deepening
- those drawn to the intersections of Shamanic Yoga, journeying, sacred rest, and guided process
You do not need to be planning to teach in order to benefit from this training. It is equally valuable for those joining for personal practice, provided they are ready for depth, reflection, and sustained engagement.
What You Will Learn
Across 50 hours, participants will study:
- the map of the koshas and how it informs the coordinates of the work
- sankalpa and invocation as sacred orientation
- breath, coherence, and rotation of consciousness
- the role of drum, sound, and voice in preparing the field for journeying
- the architecture of journeywork and how Shakti Nidra supports deeper process
- voice, pacing, rhythm, and the craft of guided facilitation
- ethical space-holding, readiness, and scope
- how to bring the practice into teaching, private sessions, or personal discipline
This training offers both a map and a method: a way to understand where the practice is taking you, and a framework for guiding others there with care.
A Distinctive Methodology
Invocation and Sacred Orientation
Participants learn how to orient through invocation, sankalpa, and relationship with Shakti. Sankalpa is approached as a coordinate for the journey.
Tantric Nyasa and the Kosha Map
Nyasa is the sacred placing of awareness into the body. Within Shakti Nidra, it becomes part of the map — a way of locating consciousness through the body’s inner coordinates so the practitioner can settle, orient, and prepare for journeying. Through this process, the body becomes a field of remembrance, and the conditions are established for Shakti to move through the practice as healer, guide, and revealer.

Drum and Sound as Medicine
Drum, rattle, song, voice, and tone are explored as ways of moving energy, shaping the container, and supporting descent into subtler layers of awareness.
Journey Work
A key dimension of this training is the study of journeywork. Participants learn how invocation, the drum, coherence, and guided descent create the conditions for retrieval, revelation, and inner repair.
Healing Through Coherence
The practice establishes the conditions in which healing can happen. The system is prepared, the coordinates are set, and the practitioner learns how to relax enough for Shakti to come in and do her work.
